The CRB is committed to providing a

provision of easy, accessible and clear guidance on how to get the
best out of the Disclosure service.

- Recruitment of Ex-offenders
It is a requirement of the CRB’s Code of Practice that all Registered Bodies must treat Disclosure applicants who have a criminal record fairly and do not discriminate because of a conviction or other information revealed.

If you are recruiting people from overseas and wish to check their overseas criminal record, a CRB Check may not provide a complete picture of their criminal record that may or may not exist.
