News item: New Application Forms
The CRB are currently receiving unprecedented
demand for stocks of new application forms. CRB are working closely
with our courier service to process these requests as quickly as
possible but there may be some impact on the normal service
levels.
To assist us in managing this demand, we ask
that if you have enough stocks to last you 28 days then please
defer placing your order for a week or two. If your stocks are less
than this then can you limit your order to what you need to last
you for the next 28 days.
This will help our courier service to cope with this exceptional
demand and get the forms to those who need them most as soon as
possible.
News item: The CRB Annual
Report & Accounts for 2009/10 (pdf 2.5mb new window) has now been
published and highlights another year of progress and achievement
for the CRB.

News item: ISA Adult First service
continues
Whilst the remodelling process for the Vetting and Barring
Scheme takes place, customers can continue to use the ISA Adult
First service. This service will be maintained and offered by the
CRB until the scope of the Vetting and Barring Scheme is finalised
and alternative arrangements are in place.
News Item: Top Tips for
completing the new application form
The new CRB application form was designed to allow customers to
apply for a CRB check and ISA registration on one simple form.
However, as a result of the Governments recent announcement to halt
the launch of ISA registration phase of the new Vetting and Barring
Scheme this form should only be used to apply for a CRB check.
